ABOUT US - COMPANY PROFILE

Mitsubishi FUSO South Africa is a subsidiary of The Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation. It is headquartered in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan. This company is one of the World's largest truck manufacturers. Continuing to build upon its partnership links, as of March 2005, The Daimler Group now owns an 85% stockholding in the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation. This link positions The Daimler Group as the world’s biggest commercial vehicle manufacturer. Worldwide more than 120 000 Mitsubishi Fuso Canters are manufactured each year.

Manufactured in Mitsubishi Fuso’s manufacturing plant in Kawasaki, Japan, the Mitsubishi Fuso range is imported in completely-knocked-down (CKD) kits and assembled in East London, South Africa. The Kawasaki Plant is the core truck production facility. It features a fully integrated production line that brings together engines, transmissions, axles and vehicle assembly to produce the full range of Fuso extra heavy, heavy, and medium duty trucks under the most stringent quality control.

The Mitsubishi FUSO head Office in South Africa is located at the Mercedes-Benz South Africa head office in Pretoria and has an extensive dealer network all around the country. .
